C C R C Providers Services Corp supports the organisations that operate continuing care retirement communities in Maryland. We work on the administrative side — the reporting, the records and the back-office discipline that sits behind a community keeping the promises it made to the people living in it.
Maryland's test, in three parts. All three must be present
Who we are
C C R C Providers Services Corp is a business-to-business services company on Elkridge Landing Road in Linthicum Heights. Our clients are the organisations that run continuing care retirement communities and continuing care at home programmes. We are not one of them.
Continuing care is an unusual promise. A resident pays a substantial entrance fee and monthly fees, and in exchange the community undertakes to house and care for them as their needs change — potentially for decades. That promise is only as good as the organisation behind it.
Most of what makes an operator dependable is unglamorous: accurate records, disclosure documents prepared on time, occupancy and waiting lists tracked properly, fee schedules that reconcile. None of it is visible from a dining room. All of it determines whether a community is still keeping its promises in fifteen years.
A community is judged on its gardens and its staff. It survives on its paperwork.

Services
Everything below supports an operator's own team. None of it involves contact with residents or any clinical decision.
Assembling and maintaining the documents an operator must prepare and keep current, on the timetable the sector requires rather than the one that is convenient.
Tracking units, entries, departures and waiting lists so the numbers in a report match the numbers in the building.
Entrance fee and monthly fee records, refund schedules and the reconciliation work behind them — the area where errors compound quietly.
Regular operating reports for boards and management, prepared consistently enough that a trend is visible before it becomes a problem.
Keeping service agreements, renewal dates and supplier documentation in one place instead of four inboxes and a filing cabinet.
Retention schedules, secure storage and orderly retrieval — so that when a question arrives about a decision made years ago, the answer exists.
Residents & families
You are in the wrong place, and we would rather say so on this page than let you spend twenty minutes finding out. We do not operate a community, we cannot advise you on choosing one, and we hold no information about any individual resident. What we can do is point you toward the four things worth understanding before anyone signs a continuing care contract.
It is typically a very large sum — by definition at least three times the average monthly fee, and in practice often far more. Understand exactly what portion is refundable, under what circumstances, to whom, and how long a refund takes. Get the answer in the contract, not in conversation.
You are relying on an organisation to keep a promise for decades. Ask for its disclosure statement and audited financial statements, and have somebody who reads such things for a living look at them. This is not rudeness; it is the single most consequential piece of diligence available to you.
Some contracts cover future care at a largely fixed cost; others charge for it as it is used. The difference can amount to a great deal of money over a long life. Ask which type you are being offered and what happens to your fees if your care needs increase substantially.
Have a lawyer and a financial adviser of your own choosing review the contract before signing — not one recommended by the community. Involve family. And be wary of any pressure to decide quickly; a genuine offer of a place in a community survives a fortnight of consideration.
